Afterwards prospective students and their families visited classrooms to meet current students and teachers and were treated to; Schoology demonstrations, Kahoot Quizzes, displays of student work, tasty snacks and words of wisdom from the Modern Language departments, subject-based presentations, musical performances, an Art workshop, a practical Woodwork tutorial, an assortment of Scientific experiments, and a range of delicious muffins that had been prepared by Home Economics students and their teacher.
Thank you to the Parents Association for providing much appreciated tea and coffee during the evening and for your traffic management activities. Thanks also to the students who helped out tonight. They are a credit to the school and to their families. Jersey Day at NCC
On the 22nd of September, we held a Jersey Day to raise money for Pieta House and Kildare Mental Health Association. Each student bought in €2 or more to contribute to this. All the jerseys were very different and included soccer jerseys, GAA jerseys and rugby jerseys. Overall Jersey Day was a big success.
