On Friday 25th September Naas Community College started the day by hosting a table quiz in the gym. The gym was decorated with posters made by the students and it looked very well. There was a great atmosphere as eighteen different teams of students battled it out by answering some quite challenging questions based on European history, geography and culture. Interestingly there were two teams that came joint first, and two teams that came joint second. Well done to all concerned!
At break time students made their way to P4 where a smorgasbord of goodies had been prepared. The food came from all over Europe and included parma ham and chorizo from Spain, baguettes and brioche from France, bratwurst and various cheeses from Germany, an assortment of food from Moldova, along with strawberries, apples, oranges, grapes, pepperoni, olives, scones, brown bread, soda bread, brie, monchego, mozzarella as well as tea and orange juice. Even though students weren't asked to bring food to share, some did, and it was very much appreciated. Students and staff enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly.
