Our two enterprise groups that made it to Killashee House on Friday March the 8th for the county finals were Custom Cases, created by Andrew Duff and Ace Chocolatiers, created by Ellie Murphy, Catherine Curran and Anna O’Donavan. Custom cases creates customised phone cases for customers using personal photos or any design/logo the customer wishes. Ace chocolatiers specialise in hot chocolates and other sweet treats based on seasons. The students at NaasCC have been enjoying hot chocolates at lunch times once a week and they are going down a treat. The students worked very hard on their mini companies over the year and represented their school very well.
First year boys went down to a very strong Knockbeg College team in their Midlands C semi final. The boys should be proud of their achievements this year in winning a bronze regional medal.
Our second year boys suffered the same fate. In what was an enthralling game of basketball the lads lost out by 5 poults in a hugely intense semi finals. These lads won their qualifying group and quarter final with ease and were very unlucky in the semis. This is a great achievement for an ever growing school. Well done lads! ![]() Meet our Teacher Leaders for our upcoming colour run. Mr. McNairney, Ms Piare, Ms Curtis and Mr Bolger are all involved to help get this run off the ground. We are doing a 5K practice walk/run on Friday 8th March to start off our Launch week with the whole school! Make sure everyone is wearing their tracksuit and parents are welcome to join in the route at 9:30. Watch out for more footage/snaps of the colour run progress. Student leaders to follow! #colourfulrunners #nccuinmay Good luck to our 1st Year Soccer team in their U14 final tomorrow Vs Celbridge CC. Kickoff is at 11:30 in Newbridge Town’s Astro if anyone wants to come along for the support.
First year CSPE students held a bake sale to raise funds for a new animal shelter KWWSPCA are hoping to build. They raised 155 euro during break time and will present this to KWWSPCA when they visit our school next week to speak to the students about the great work they do.
