As part of our CSPE Action we attended The Dáil in Leinster House. As a class, we organised the trip in its entirety which included organising transport, collecting money, making contact with the head usher in The Dáil and we researched The Dáil before our visit.
When there we split into groups and got to see a live Dáil debate which focused on the issue of social welfare. As well as being shown around Leinster House we saw The Seanad and even got invited into The Dáil Bar by TD James Lawless. We got the opportunity to ask Mr. Lawless lots of questions, it was such a great day!
