To mark the beginning of Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Week) at the beginning of March, the school is getting involved in an annual event known as 'Rith 2016'. The event takes place in various locations over Ireland each year and this year it will pass though Naas. The event involves running one kilometre as a school group. The route this year begins at Fairgreen (R448) near Vista Healthcare and continues down to Tesco (R448). Rith 2016 is a way to celebrate the Irish language and culture in a way that is fun, visual, community based and can be celebrated throughout the island of Ireland. Our kilometre slot is set to begin at 2.25pm on the afternoon of Friday 4th of March.
