A huge thank you to the students in Oak2 who helped complete a litter survey on NCC school grounds. A whopping 6 bags of litter were collected over one class period. The grounds are much tidier as a result and just shows an area to focus on for #greenschools and #neatstreets .🌍 Well done
We need to hear from parents! We are inviting parents to help us write our Mission Statement. We are collecting your ideas in a book that is available in the school each day from 11.20 - 1.20 and 4.00 - 4.30.

Application forms for First Year Enrolment 2018/2019 have now been added to the Policies section of this Website. The Closing Date for applications is 2pm on the 27th of October 2017.
Also added to this section is the Student Transfer form which must be filled in by any student seeking transfer into this school.
Well done to Leon Sweeney and Cormac Cullinane who competed in the Athletics Leinster Championships in Santry, Co. Dublin today. They both ran extremely well. Leon has qualified for the All Ireland Cross Country Championships in March.
Keep up the good work! Athletics training takes place on Thursday mornings from 8.10 am.
Excellent Team performance from NCC this morning from our 1st year soccer team. Won 3-1 against St.Farnans, winning 3 out of 3 and topping the group. Two goals scored by Sam Flynn and one from Alex Donnelly Swift. Man of the Match to Edward O'Toole who was excellent as an attacking wide man in his first match for the school. We held an information meeting for incoming First Year Parents on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Please find the Powerpoint shown by Mr Keegan and Ms Buckley. Thanks to all for attending despite the heavy traffic and the other events.

The Wriggle store will open on the 5th of April 2017 and we hope to distribute the iPads to incoming First Years in June 2017. The date for that has yet to be confirmed.

Our 2nd year students attended The Mill Theatre in Dundrum to see a live performance of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". In the classes that followed we examined the play through the use of interactive and active learning methodologies in conjunction with Instructional Leadership strategies
