A 17 year old girl is found lying dead on the ground in a disused military bunker. the girl’s parents reported her missing four days prior when she failed to return home from school. There are signs of a struggle and a substantial wound to the head appears to be the cause of death. Students will examine the crime scene and analyse the evidence including entomology, trace evidence, finger prints, toxicology and much more. Students analyse evidence from the crime scene and interpret results including ngerprint matching, trace evidence microscopy, entomology, toxicology and much more. Students use deductive reasoning to solve the crime by building a case to prove who did it, what happened, how and why.

This document has come about as a result of the consultation process that included the submissions of staff, students and parents over the last two years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have contributed to this process and helped bring us to a position where we are able to articulate what kind of school we wish to have. This document will now be distributed to all students, families and stakeholders. I urge you all to read through it. As it says, this will be a living document "that will change with the contributions of our community and through the collective experiences we share." I look forward to your response to this Mission Statement. Ciarán Keegan October 5th 2017 ![]()
Our Open evening took place on Wednesday 4th October. From 7:00pm onwards large crowds arrived every half hour and began their evening by attending a talk given by Mr Keegan, the Principal and Ms Buckley, the Deputy Principal. Afterwards prospective students and their families visited classrooms to meet current students and teachers and were treated to; Schoology demonstrations, Kahoot Quizzes, displays of student work, tasty snacks and words of wisdom from the Modern Language departments, subject-based presentations, musical performances, an Art workshop, a practical Woodwork tutorial, an assortment of Scientific experiments, and a range of delicious muffins that had been prepared by Home Economics students and their teacher. Thank you to the Parents Association for providing much appreciated tea and coffee during the evening and for your traffic management activities. Thanks also to the students who helped out tonight. They are a credit to the school and to their families. ![]()
