A bus full of students travelled to Croke Park on a very chilly Saturday 21st November where they, along with 38,000 other spectators watched Ireland play Australia and win the Cormac McAllen Cup. This week some students will have the opportunity to participate in a Bi-Lingual Rap Workshop with Garry McCarthy of GMC Beats. Funded by Foras na Gaeilge and organised by Naas library, this initiative allows students to write and record a rap in both English and Irish. This is a fantastic chance for students to develop not only their language skills but to experience music recording. Here is a recording of the brilliant rap created by the students on the day. Maith Sibh! The school managed to raise €80 for the Irish Wheelchair Association and had some fun while doing so. Thank you so much to everyone for making this possible and taking part.
