It is hoped that by wearing odd or mismatched shoes, we can step out of our comfort zone and help to stamp out the stigma that surrounds mental health difficulties while raising vital funds to support vulnerable young adults in Ireland. ‘Walk in My Shoes’ is a campaign of St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation raising funds to provide mental health services, support and information to those who need it most. Students and teachers are asked to wear odd shoes on Friday 9th October. You can simply wear a pair of odd shoes or decorate and reinvent an old pair of shoes. There will be a prize on Friday for the best student pair and best staff pair of odd shoes. Comments are closed.
